Heyo!

Another week has gone by. Another Tuesday is upon us - and we shall be awesome in it's glory.

I typed half this update and then had to restart Firefox - and I lost the update because apparently I suck at copying and pasting. Firefox was doing this thing where it spikes the CPU usage then stops... then spikes it again and so on. The end result would be that my keystrokes wouldn't appear. How annoying.

So this Tuesday I went to see Iron Man with some mates. It wasn't as great as the hype made it out to be, but it wasn't terrible either. What little storyline the film had turned out quite well - although a bit predictable. Also what action the film had was really good - but there could of been more. It was like halfway between an action film and a... story. I guess. But anyway, at the end of the film my friend pointed out that it was EXACTLY like Batman. CEO of a big company goes missing for a while, when he comes back he turns into a super hero (with expensive weapons). I think they got away with it though because Batman is DC and Iron Man is Marvel. Also Batman is afraid of bats, but Iron Man isn't afraid of Iron.
It's worth a see - also if you care about a follow up at all stay until the end. I didn't and missed out. It sets up for an Avengers film with Samuel L Jackson playing the role of Nick Fury. Worth a stay until the end.

I need a cup of tea... Now to add the milk... Right, that's better... now on with the update.

Ugh, what a crappy day. If it wasn't for the fact that we have Yorkshire Tea in this house I think I would go massively insane.

First I had to drive all the way through town and back again after work to go to the shops and I took completely ages. Winchester can be a very slow city with a lot of annoying as crap drivers. Ah well, we made it in one piece. And I bought food for dinner which was quite nice.

Then I got back to check my on-line banking. Hurrah! A message from my bank regarding the money they stole from me... oh yeah, I'll explain from the start.

When setting up my bank accounts they forced me to do it on-line for some stupid retard reason. So I go and do it, but because I am awesome I do some fancy dancing combination of pressing back and forwards browser buttons and clicking submit a few times when submitting my application. I don't know why I do it, it's just fun sometimes (yeah, I am sad). So I ended up with two bank accounts, one that I got a card for and use and am happy with. And another account that I don't ever use, in fact I was allowed to name the account, so I named it "One_I_dont_use" - but for shorties we'll call him Steve. Clever name huh? This account has no card, no nothing that I know of. Just some mystic on-line presence that can only been seen through the magic on-line browsing window and the bank can't close it for some amazing reason which I believe to be epic and awesome.

So, here I am with two on-line bank accounts. A few years later Steve gets some charges... one per month. Hmm, a direct debit has been set up. How annoying. Oh, and what is this? My bank have charged me for these charges being unpaid because this account has never and will never contain any money because I don't have a frigging card or a card number. These charges are now pretty steep and a few days later I get a letter saying I have £60+ of debt because of a direct debit to BT Group - a company which I've never ever had any dealings with in the past.

I called up BT Group who were very happy to help and told me some douche bag is using my sort code and account number with his own name and address. Well done idiot. They were very nice and said they've give me my money back.

Next the job was to email the bank about my frigging big charges. So I sent an email explaining all about the Steve account, and how I don't ever use him. Also about BT Group and I don't have any dealings with them. Also about never having set up a direct debit.
After three fucking days they email back with some shit about "For more details on these charges, visit some-bullshit-link. You can get 9.9% EAR bah blah"

ARRGGGGHHH

Words cannot describe my frustration!
I sent a slightly angry email in response, hopefully I'll get a nice reply saying "Oh, I understand now, sorry about that. Completely our fault how a direct debit can be set up on your account without your name and signature and any physical evidence or record. Here is your money back"

We can all pray though...

I also did some voice acting for a game. I'll post the link when it's up.

I'm tired, my tea is ready to drink now.

Hey All,

I know we haven't updated in ages. And it's kinda sad. I am sorry, I didn't mean it. I take it back. I've been crazy busy with making flash games, flash cartoons and all that jazz. When I get time I will add a flash section to this website and it'll be awesome. I swear, it'll rock. But for now you'll have to deal with links...

It was Tamra's birthday this month, and... well, I gotta be honest, I got her an awesome present.
I thought long and hard about what she would want. I always just buy her something and it's a bit lame (even though I do think I know her taste in jewelry quite well).
After thinking long and hard, I came up with a cartoon. I haven't made a cartoon in a while, and I think my skills are up to it to finally make one for her. So I set sail to make the animation of a life-time!

After a month of work, here it is -

I'm very pleased with how it turned out. Most people on the internets seemed to like it. It also was submitted to UGO Flash Player this morning which I am pretty proud of.

As soon as I figure out how to get it onto YouTube I'll post a link on here...

Anyway, so my life recently - I am still working at IBM for another few months. I am working on 2 flash games. One is a Lucky Hit/Peggle thing, with added awesomeness. The other is Arrival In Hell 2. Which is well on it's way. We have yet to think of a cool sub title for it. Maybe "Arrival In Hell 2 - The Escape From Hell". But that sounds like we're ending it, which we're possibly not. Anyway, if you have any suggestions please feel free to comment or contact me.

Oh, and AWESOME news about the Blue Smarties. I am so excited about that. I'm glad they found a natural source of blue somewhere.
