So this Tuesday I was mostly watching history programmes, and I noticed in each one it was all "and this job was reserved for the most respected member of staff". I'm starting to think he was the most respected member of staff only because he had the shitty jobs like wiping the guys arse and other shit like that.

I also want to know who thought it was a good idea to have this "respected member of staff" taste the food first to see if it was poisoned. Because surely if it's always the same guy and it never changes you can bump off the taster if you don't like him, plus this was the middle ages so it's not like they'd have a good chance of catching you simply because there's no fucking evidence. It's not like they can find your DNA on the bottle, I'm not entirely sure they even dusted for finger prints there...it could be the perfect crime, hell it probably happened but thanks to Jack the Ripper we'll never know of the mysterious death of the food tasters.
