I know IBM have a lot of patents. I also know that a lot of ridiculous patents exist. But this one takes the prize cake.
IBM have officially patented a check box.
Admitedly it's not just any check box, specifically it is a check box where you click and drag the mouse without letting go and select multiple checks. The patent page just spend about 10 pages explaining that in a really complicated way.

I watched this Halo 3 story on the news last night about people waiting in line for 5-6 (if not more) hours. Now I have no problem with Halo 3, infact I have no problem with games at all. You could call me a gamer, actually. What I have a problem with is people who stay up until 5:30 in the morning playing it when they know they have work the next day and then complain about being tired. Although I'd probably be more forgiving of Halo if I was better at it... Because I suck.

I am sick. So very very sick. So I could not go to Karate as I wanted. However I did manage to get to the doctor... but she gives me a puffer. Question? Why do I need a puffer? I have a VERY mild case of asthma and have NEVER needed a puffer in my life... and yet I have a throat and nose cold and this doctor gives me a puffer... Canada's health personel are weird.

The highlight of my Tuesday was the finding of a long lost friend. My nanny. Who practically raised me, left me when I was ten and I could never find her. I finally discovered her on facebook. COOL BEANS! I decided that was quite a feat for this Tuesday. So until next...

Oh man what an exciting Tuesday! Well it was part Wednesday as it ran over past midnight, but it was still exciting nonetheless.

Firstly...
HEROES SERIES 2!
Oh my god, how fucking awesome?! I've been waiting for this for so long. Can't believe it's actually starting series 2 now. The first episode was a killer! So good!

Secondly...
I watched the first in a new series called Chuck. It was quite funny. It's about a guy named Chuck... surprisingly. He's basically a member of the geek squad or whatever, and his friend from college - who is now a government agent - manages to somehow upload all this data into Chucks brain, so Chuck becomes this computer that knows about bombs and stuff. It's got some cool fighting and is quite fricking funny.

HALO 3!!!
Holy crap HALO 3! Now those of you that know me know that I don't own a 360, which posed a problem. But thankfully Tom (another industrial trainee at IBM) was awesomely kind enough to let me play it with him co-op. So we did. We went to the midnight launch at the game in Winchester... waited in line with all the geeks and... chavs. Of all people at the midnight launch of Halo 3... chavs were there. How odd is that? So anyway, we got back to his and played. We played for 5 hours straight and completed it! It was awesome! That probably makes it sound like a short game, but we were quite fast. We were getting 2x and 2.5x multipliers on our completion times of the levels. So I don't know, I think it'll take normal people on their own a good 10 hours to complete. It has a load more shit added to it, more vehicles, more guns, a few more enemies and more kick ass action. It's so action packed with a decent story that kinda wraps it up. I won't say any more though, play it yourself. I certinaly wasn't disappointed by the hype factor.

Also, it turns out that people with deep voices are more likely to have more kids. That's weird.
But that must be false... if it were true ADO should have 12 kids already. His voice is so deep I think it causes tectonic plate shifts when he talks.

Also I discovered that Kiefer Sutherland's (I guess a lot of people would know him as Jack Bauer) actual full name is Kiefer William Frederick Dempsey George Rufus Sutherland.

Yea, he pissed me off. I was tempted not to post at all, but I can't take what Rich does out on Tuesday now can I?

Arg! That stupid squishy thing. CONSTANTLY pulling it up over his face and squishing his hands into it. Constantly with the "Sqwiiissssss... Sqwiiiissssss" of the beans in it going around and around.

Personally my Tuesdays are very much like my other days. Although I have karate... :)Which is AMAZING. It's quite a stress relief to punch people... espcially if you pretend it's someone your really mad at. *clears throat*

Anyways... I'm watching "Bringing Down The House" So I'm going to go back to watching that. Have a good week... Happy Tuesday.

Arr, this Tuesday be a good day. I went to the post office and got me squistie. It is very squishy. It's very blue and squishy. It pleases all me piraty needs. Arrr! Avast!

I only think I can keep up talking like arrr pirate for a little while.

I did a very piraty thing on Tuesday and tried to chip my Wii again, but that failed quite a lot. But Steve from my office offered to do it. He's such an awesome guy! My soldering skills suck - I managed to screw it up a bit.

Oh and I think I pissed off Tamra... so if she posts and is mad it's maybe my fault. I'm sorry if you're reading this. (I played with the squishty quite a lot, it annoyed her... NOT like that you sick-o).
