I can't burp

I really can't. I also don't get headaches, but I'm not going to complain about that.
But seriously, I CAN'T burp. I've tried. I've drank a shed load of coke, and tried time and time again, I've even had tips on how to do it, but I can't. You may think it's kinda cool. But it's not, it just feels really annoying when I know a burp would make me feel better, but I can't do one!
Are there other people in the world like me who share this inane "power" of not being able to burp. I asked Google to find out more.
The answer is yes
Turns out there are. Wow. Problem solved.

Anyway, this Tuesday I got a new game for my Wii - Dragon Ball Z - Budokai Tenkaichi 2. Or something. I spelt it right, wow!
It's actually quite a fun game, I feel sad for doing the motions when you wanna do a special attack, but what the hell? It's fun.

That's about it. I can't be arsed with a video you lazy gets!

Na nite

Attached video "Domino Day 35"
I woke up with the worst headache today, proving Wednesday is evil and Tuesday is....is a word that rhymes with evil but means good. Dodged that bullet.

Anyways yeah, for a guy who has no job (and is trying might I add) I seem to have a lot of work to do. This Tuesday I was mostly painting stuff. I also had 2 VCD's to copy AND 2 DVD's, all legal might I add before anyone comes breaking down my door.

It all went downhill on Wednesday (today) when I woke up and my head felt like it would explode, however after several pills it seems to be going now which is good.

I give you Domino day

won't do. They just really won't do at all.

So this Tuesday I was quite disappointed to find that yerfacebook.com (It's basically a cross between 'yer face' and 'facebook', making yerfacebook) isn't a website. I was tempted to buy it, but then I'd have no idea what to do with it.

My revision started on Monday. Learning hard for exams... which are in about 3 weeks. Oh god it's so soon! I am going to crash and burn and die in a purely metaphorical sense! I got my cool bathysphere working. It's real purdy. I have some basic collision detection (and I mean really basic), but it looks nice and shiny, and doesn't fall through the ground... often.

I haven't got a video for you people this week, so I thought what can I do instead? Currently I feel like trying to put my revision to some use, so I'll briefly explain some methods for multiple processes accessing critical sections (I said I do computer science yeah? Anyway, a critical section is an area or object that can only be accessed by one process at a time for concurrency reasons). The first algorithm to utilize this is central server algorithm, this basically elects a process as a central "server" *finds some chicken on lip... nom* and if a process requires a lock on a critical section it will ask the central server. This then says yes if it can grant it, or it waits (putting the process into a queue) until it can grant it, then says it yes. Bored yet? I think I'll start a new paragraph. Go get a cuppa tea, or a coffee. Make sure you put lots of sugar and milk in it. Or just... skip it.
The second is using a token ring. Processes are linked in a ring formation, and a token is passed around the ring. If a process wants to access the critical section, it waits till it has the token and does it business - holding onto the token - then once it is done it passes it on. And finally we have the distributed algorithm, in this algorithm if a process wants access rights, it tells everyone that it wants to access this critical section. It then waits for replies from all the other processes, if a process doesn't want it or doesn't have the lock already, it says yes. If the process also wants the lock, it will compare the timestamps of when it originally asked for it, if the original process is first then it replies with yes, else it sticks the original process in a queue and doesn't reply yet, until it's done. Once our original process has yes' from all other processes, it gets the lock.

See? Wasn't that fun. More fun than a video? Defiantly. I'd say so...
...I am so gunna get complained at. I'll just find a video next week.

Oh yeah... is dudebag a complement or an insult? Perhaps I'll implement some poll thing for the next generation of Party Tuesday. If I do, that'll be the first thing to go on there.

Anyways. That's it for now. Sorry about that, at least you possibly learned something.
Na Nite

Wow, I don't think much more could or should be said. There's a lot to read there and I won't comment on it here in case it's a spoiler to some of you. So there you go, a lazy update.

Na nite ;)

Attached video "This is halloween"
Feck all is on, it's Thursday and it's 2am. I'm still in Tuesday mode as I've not been to sleep since I got up at 7am on Tuesday.

So yeah, Tuesday was a busy day. It took 5 hours with me being an electricians mate to go around all the fire alarms in the house to find the faulty one that went off several times on Monday. 5 hours, 9 fire alarms, fucking mental. But whatever.

SCIENCE IN ACTION. I swear this crap is the only thing on at the moment. Todays episode is all about static electricity! This is awful, it's like the stuff you had to watch in year 6 for SATs and it explains it slowly several times with demonstrations.

So now for a Tuesday video. Now I know it's not Halloween but I've had this damn song in my head all day so you can listen to it now too.
